Consultation opens for Aldbrough Hydrogen Storage
As part of the next stage of development for Aldbrough Hydrogen Storage, a consultation has opened for communities to have their say on the project design.
The Project is a collaboration between Equinor and SSE Thermal, proposing to create a hydrogen storage facility. This will provide low carbon, safe and flexible energy to support the UK’s net-zero targets.
Rachel Fox, Engagement Manager at SSE Thermal, said ‘We’re excited to be proposing our plans for Aldbrough Hydrogen Storage and understand the importance of community input into design. This consultation will be a collaborative forum for you to tell us your views so we can design a place with everybody in mind.’
How to get involved:
Any person may comment on the proposals and responses can be submitted in the following ways:
• Online via our website (www.yourvoiceerm.com/aldbrough-hydrogen-storage)
• By post at Freepost Aldbrough Hydrogen Storage
