As part of the next stage of development for Aldbrough Hydrogen Storage, a consultation has opened for communities to have their say on the project design.

Leading energy companies Centrica, Equinor and SSE Thermal have signed a co-operation agreement setting out proposals for a hydrogen pipeline linking key decarbonisation projects on the north bank of the Humber.

Members of the public are being invited to view proposals for a low-carbon hydrogen storage facility at Aldbrough which would contribute towards reducing carbon emissions in the region and helping the UK achieve its net zero targets.
